I’ve got one of those too, nearly used it on a training day, but wish I’d had it when my main winch broke on the AMRO training day back in March.

Cracking bits of kit, just a bit slow. No good if you’ve a heart condition thou!!!

Thanks Ian, but I think two tirfors is being gready or I need to buy a bigger truck to carry all my spare kit. Got enough shackles and slings/stropes to supply another units….

Ok, I give up trying to add photos….but I now have two Tirfors for sale. Both are medium size with a SWL of 1600kg and in good condition.
One is the TU16 which is the older style but heavy duty, £150.
The other is the T516D, lighter ali casing, very good condition £185.

best solution for a tirfor is a rear winch, i gave the tirfor away to the scouts

John did you ever get rid of those Tirfors? I would have one off you. I have a smaller version that I use for training and occasional jobs. Larger one would be more use to me.
